Athletics and aspiring for perfection have always been a part of my life and who I am. Naturally I hoped for a career that would involve these two key components. As I approached my college years I knew enough to know that having a career and making a living are two different things. As I was pursuing a career in health and fitness, my discipline was Sports Medicine. After spending countless years in college I had the misfortune of sustaining a disabling injury to my back. My life hopes and dreams where tragically changed in a matter of seconds. I went from an able body person to being bound in bed for months without the assistance of my legs or bladder. Only after an anterior and posterior lumbar fusion on several levels was I entirely rehabilitated after 7 years. In this time I was presented with two options: (1) give up (2) move forward.

The International Sports Science Association became my avenue in moving forward. I became ISSA certified. My choice was not random. My first step was contacting an organization that had all the information I would need to launch my dream. ISSA was and still is today, that organization. ISSA provided me with the educational, business and practical foundation that I needed to launch my career in the health and fitness industry. Their programs are recognized across the world for their solid scientific emphasis, critical to success and producing results. Also, on a daily basis they provide the most up to date data available and applicable to our industry.

Perhaps just as critical as the tools ISSA provides has been the support, encouragement, and belief by everyone that I have come in contact with, that my vision could become a reality.

Today I own and operate what has been recognized as one of the most successful training facilities in the country; additionally I have been rank among the top three professional fitness trainers in the United States.
